Breakfast-St. Bridgett's Well-Cliffs of Moher-Bunratty Castle Banquet

Early morning continental  breakfast at the manor.  - plus full menu to order from.  Irish tea is excellent.  I love it.  We have enjoyed our two day stay.  Beautiful setting and grounds.
Blue car bottom left is our rental car and we are on the ferry on the River Shannon on our way to the Cliffs of Moher.

The Cliffs of Moher - foggy day but still a beautiful sight.  I made it all the way and took the pictures.  I love the coastline.
This is a thatched roof home inside the castle compund.......we've seen many of these homes as we have traveled through the small towns...........Amazing!!!
The Bunratty Castle - we are on our way for our 4 course banquet at the Bunratty Castle.... Great experience and glad the kids booked this dinner.
On our way into the castle..........below is our entertainment during our banquet dinner.....no silverware at the table.......just a dagger to eat with.....We both enjoyed the meal, wine, and mead!!!
We stopped on our way to the Cliffs of Moher to pray for our friends and family at St. Bridgett's Well.  There was a beautiful old graveyard behind the well (I'll try to post some pictures later) and of course it was attached to PUB!!! Only the Irish can get away with it..........
We had full day and as we returned to the manor...without mentioning any names!! we were stopped by the Garda!! (Police) They let him go and told him to not drive in the right hand lane on the carriageway (highway).  P.S. The policeman was young and adorable and I think we were somehow related!!!

  2. awesome. Dad didn't make it to the top of the bluffs huh. And I knew it was only a matter of time before he would get pulled over for doing something a drunk driver would do. Keep the updates coming. Your favorite son!
