Tour of Dublin

Today started wonderfully.  The Ritz gave us a complimentary Dublin City bus tour.  (More on that later)  We took the train from a little town not far from the Ritz into Dublin. After we arrived we found the tour bus stop and boarded the bus. While on the bus, Mickey spotted another Kearney Pub so we had to get off and have a beer with the locals.  Ledgend has it that the lady that lived upstairs of the pub had a son " PEADRA KEARNEY" who according to the local bar tendor wrote the National Anthem of Ireland.  Might need to google that little piece of Irish and Kearney History?

I don't recall what all of these establishments are but they are all in the middle of Dublin.  This is a very old and beautiful city.  It was great to be able to see and experience the city.

After stopping in the village close to the Ritz for dinner, we arrived to a full moon over the mountain.  We did have to stop and hold up traffic to get this picture.
You can also see the full moon just over the top of the Ritz.  The wonderful folks at the Ritz also gave us complimentary drinks and dessert upon our return from Dublin.  They were very happy to see your mother again, I think.  Mickey was so exhausted tonight that I had to do the blog today.  We will be off to Northern Ireland tommorrow.
